The Dallas-Fort Worth Clean Cities (DFWCC) Fleet Recognition Awards recognized outstanding fleets in the Dallas-Fort Worth region for their efforts using alternative fuels and other fuel saving strategies to improve local air quality. At the awards, DFWCC staff provided information on the 2024 Annual Survey results. The Charging Smart Designation recognized municipalities that took steps to streamline planning, permitting, and inspections to support the deployment of electric vehicle infrastructure. The Air North Texas Partner Awards recognized entities for their educational and outreach efforts in improving air quality in North Texas.
